2016 Season (Freshman): Appeared in 23 sets over 11 matches … recorded 11 kills, 37 digs, two blocks and an ace … season-high seven kills at SFA (10/1) … season-high 17 digs and lone ace came in five-set thriller versus HBU (10/22).

High School/Prep: A team captain, Olivarez ed the Mustangs in blocks and kills, earning District MVP honors and Team MVP honors ... was also a member of the HISD All-Tournament Team... was named First Team All-District and Team MVP as a junior captain ... took home the CW 39 Class Act of the Week award ... was named District MVP and Team MVP as a sophomore, receiving Houston Chronicle Honorable Mention honors ... named First Team All-District and voted Most Versatile Player as a freshman ... member of the National Honor Society, Science Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa, Olivarez was also member of the Honor Roll all four years of high school and graduated seventh in her class of 330 students.
