2021 Season (Junior): Was a mainstay in the lineup, starting 53 of 55 games played... finished with a .261 batting average, totaling a team-high 54 hits with 10 doubles, three triples, and two home runs... scored 23 runs and drove in 20... had 16 walks and 10 hit-by-pitches... tallied five sacrifices, including three bunts... was 19 of 28 in stolen bases... finished with a team-high 18 multi-hit games, highlighted by two three-hit efforts... had a 15-game on-base streak and a seven-game hitting streak... had a three-run homer against McNeese (5/16)... had four assists from the outfield. 

2020 Season (Junior): Registered time on the field in all 18 contests of the shortened season, making 17 starts along the way in the outfield ... batted a decent .218 on 12 hits with three doubles ... posted a team-second best 10 runs scored while collecting a pair of RBIs ... garnered eight hit-by-pitch, good for first in the conference and 12th nationally, as well as 15 walks ... notably picked up a unique hit-by-pitch walk-off against LIU (2/28) ... selected for the Southland All-Academic second team.

2019 Season (Sophomore): Saw action in all 55 games while making 54 starts in the outfield ... racked up a .288 batting average behind 55 hits ... totaled a team-second best 27 RBIs as well ... notched 23 walks and 16 hit-by-pitch, leading to a team-best .397 on-base percentage ... also led the squad with 16 steals and 41 runs scored ... tabbed for the Southland All-Academic second team.

2018 Season (Freshman): Immediately made an impact with the Colonels as a rookie, picking up 36 outfield starts on 49 appearances ... finished with a .210 average on 26 hits ... drove home 15 RBIs and notched five doubles as well as one homer ... scored 18 runs and posted five steals ... walked 15 times.

High School/Prep: Attended Destrehan High School in Destrehan, La. ... a three-time 7-5A All-District and All-Metro First Team honoree … Earned All-State honors once … named to the Principal’s List all four years, graduating Summa Cum Laude … Participated as a Kick Off Mentor for Freshman … Played club ball with the LA Knights.

Personal: Born Dane Joseph Simon on Oct. 2, 1998 in New Orleans … has two siblings, Taylor and Noah … son of Neal and Michelle Simon … Majoring in business in hopes to pursue a career in construction management after graduation.
