2018 Season (Redshirt Sophomore): Recorded a team-second best 28 appearances, finishing with a 2-4 record ... tossed 30.0 innings pitched, wrapping up with a 6.00 ERA ... surrendered 26 runs (20 earned) on 36 hits, striking out 17 along the way.

2017 Season (Redshirt Freshman): Turned in the team’s lowest ERA at 1.99 in 22.2 innings pitched … Did not earn a decision in 18 appearances … Allowed 20 hits and five earned runs … Compiled a 19:6 strikeout-to-walk ratio … Posted a .241 batting average against … Earned first career save against SFA (May 7), striking out three during 1.2 scoreless relief innings … Allowed just one hit and struck out three during a season-high 4.1 innings of work against Southern Miss (April 18).

2016 Season (Freshman): Did not see game action ... redshirted.

Personal: Born Jan. 15 in Houma, La., Austin Bollinger is the son of Craig and D'Lyn Bollinger... Austin's father (Craig) played baseball for Nicholls from 1980-84... Austin's uncle (Niles Bollinger) played baseball for Nicholls from 1978-82... Majoring in Geomatics.
