Prior to Nicholls: Spent two seasons at Texas A&M and did not see any action.

At Fulshear: Ranked as the No. 131 left-hander pitcher nationally by Perfect Game...Rated as No. 120 overall prospect and No. 11 left-handed pitcher in Texas by PG ..Played prep ball under Coach Robb Jensen and played summer ball for 5 Star Performance...Went 7-1 in 48.0 innings as a junior in 2022, striking out 104 with a .133 opponent batting average...Missed senior season due to injury...Broke school single-game strikeout record with 17 in a game and set school’s single-season strikeout record as a junior with 104...Helped lead team to state playoffs in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
