2024 Season (Senior): Named All-SLC Second Team, SLC Tournament MVP...Played 47 games with 46 starts and hit career best .310...tallied 57 hits, 11 doubles, 8 home runs... tallied 49 RBI and scored 37 times...recorded 81 putouts, one assists and a .995 field percentage...registered 18 multi hit games, including three hit performances against McNeese and UIW... hit home runs in back to back games against Southeastern in the SLC Tournament...One of the homers was a walk-off three run blast to secure the Colonels spot in the title game.

2023 Season (Redshirt Junior): Played in 26 games including seven starts... finished with 10 hits for a .278 batting average... totaled two doubles, a triple, and five RBIs... had seven walks and 13 runs scored... half of his hits came in career night at Lamar where he went 5 for 8 with a double, a triple, and two RBIs. Drove in the game-winning run with an RBI single to give Nicholls a 9-8 win in 19 innings... was 2 for 2 in stolen bases.

2022 Season (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in 28 games with 10 starts... totaled eight hits for a .211 batting average... had two doubles and a home runs... scored 16 runs and had seven RBIs... hit a 2-run double in the seventh against Louisiana Tech and scored the game-winning run in the 5-4 victory...homered in the 11-4 win at Southeastern... totaled 10 free passes with seven walks and three HPBs... put down two sacrifice bunts... stole one base.

2021 Season (Redshirt Freshman): Started 35 of 47 games played in his first year with the Colonels... had 24 hits for a .182 average... totaled four doubles, a triple, and four home runs... scored 17 runs and had 17 RBIs... recorded 10 walks and five hit-by-pitches... had one sac fly... was 9 of 12 in stolen bases.

2020 Season (Jones College): Appeared and started in 16 of the team's 17 games during the shortened 2020 season ... batted .322 overall behind 19 hits and a squad-best 15 RBIs ... ... posted two doubles, one triple and a pair of home runs as well ... also scored 18 runs for the Bobcats ... garnered eight steals on 10 attempts.

2019 Season (Mississippi State): Did not see game action ... redshirted.

High School/Prep: Lettered twice for head coach Johnny Brechtel at Ponchatoula High School…Named team captain as a junior and senior…Earned second-team All-America honors from Perfect Game as a senior…Tabbed first-team Underclass All-American by Perfect Game as a junior…Named to the Perfect Game Underclass World Championships All-Tournament Team during the fall of his junior season…Earned all-state and all-district honors as a senior…Also lettered twice in football.

Personal: Born Basiel Williams Jr. on January 5, 2000 in Hammond, Louisiana … son of Lula and Basiel Williams Sr .. has two older sisters, Kiara and Briuna, and one younger sister, Alliyah … father, Basiel, lettered four times in football at Louisiana-Lafayette … uncle, George Coins, lettered in football and track at Southern University … uncle, Joe Williams played football at North Texas State … uncle, Greg Williams lettered in football at Texas Southern ... cousin, Cletis Gordon, lettered in football at Jackson State and played six seasons in the NFL for four different organizations … cousin, Carlos Wheeler, lettered in basketball at Campbellsville University ... business administration major.
