Nicholls State University

Blaise enters his first season with the Colonels as the Director of Baseball Operations. Blaise comes to Nicholls after finishing his playing career at Belhaven College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Administration with a Minor in Mathematics. At Belhaven Blaise was a four year starter for the Blazers. He played second base for three years and spent one year as an outfielder. While at Belhaven, Blaise was part of two Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championship teams, three NAIA regional appearances and was a captain during his senior year. Before attending Belhaven College, Blaise attended Cleveland High School in Cleveland, MS where he was a four year starter. He was an all-state selection his senior year and helped lead the Wildcats to a 47-1 record in district play over the four years. Blaise is married to the former Ashley Cosbey of Olive Branch, MS and they now reside in Thibodaux.
