At University High School: Selected 2^nd Team All-District after reaching the quarterfinals… Selected 1^st Team All-District in 2013… Received All-Metro and Honorable Mention All-State honors as a member of the State Runner-Up team… Earned the team’s defensive award, batting .386 with a .991 fielding percentage at second base… Selected 1^st Team All-District, All-Metro and Honorable Mention All-State in 2014 on the State Semifinalist team… Earned Academic All-State in 2014… Earned the team’s Outstanding Player Award, batting .402 with 26 stolen bases and a .963 fielding percentage at short stop... Member of the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes… Member of the band for two years… Earned a cumulative GPA of 3.75 and had a 4.5 GPA his senior year.

Is the son of Myra Broussard, an elementary Principal at University Lab School, and Burke Broussard, a head baseball coach and assistant football coach at University High School... Has three siblings, Blakeley, Brooke and Brittany… Father played baseball at LSU, cousin ran track at West Point and another cousin swims at Texas A&M… Majoring in Geomatics.
