2026: Saw action in 50 games with 50 starts at first base…While batting .306, he has accumulated 56 hits, including 10 doubles and 14 home runs. He scored 39 times and generated 43 RBI. Thompson had 12 multi-hit games, including recording four twice. He has 36 walks to boast a .427 OB%. He also earned SLC Hitter of the Week honors one time this season. His 14 home runs are the second most in a single season by a Colonel in program history.

2025: Had an extremely productive redshirt sophomore season, anchoring the middle of the order ... Finished with a .370 average, a .483 on-base percentage and a .649 slugging percentage ... Bashed 17 doubles and four homers ... Collected 68 RBis and scored 66 runs ... Walked 45 times — good enough for the second most in a season in program history ... 68 RBIs were tied for the fifth most in a single season in PRCC history ... Helped lead Pearl River to an MACCC Championship, a Region 23 title and an NJCAA World Series Runner-up finish ... Named First Team All-MACCC, MACCC Player of the Year, All-Region 23 and Second Team NJCAA All-America ... Earned one MACCC Player of the Week award on the season ... 2024: Battled an injury throughout the season but turned in a solid showing at the plate ... Ended the year with a .362 batting average, .475 on-base percentage and .702 slugging percentage ... Hit eight doubles and eight homers ... Tallied 38 RBIs, 27 runs, 21 walks and four stolen bases ... Named Second Team All-MACCC ... Took home one MACCC Player of the Week award.

High School: Played for Caleb Upton at Brookhaven Academy ... Named to the 2022 MAIS 5A All-State Team and 2021 MAIS 4A All-State Team ... Member of the 2018 and 2019 MAIS State Championship Baseball Teams ... Held a .528 batting average, .673 on-base percentage and hit 13 home runs as a senior.

Personal: Son of Chris and Christy Thompson...Has one sibling named Cami...Majoring in Allied Health with the plans to become a CRNA.
