Lee Clark joined the Nicholls baseball coaching staff in January 2021 as a Volunteer Assistant Coach, taking over as the program's camp coordinator and outfielders position specialist.
Clark joins the Red & Gray following a one-year stint as the hitting and infield coach & recruiting coordinator at Tennessee Community College. The season prior, he served as the student assistant coach for Nicholls while completing the final year of his undergraduate degree, helping out the program following a successful two-year playing career with the Colonels.
While competing for the Red & Gray, Clark composed two quality campaigns from 2016-18 with 90 total appearances along with 79 starts in the outfield, batting a career .266 with 77 hits, 56 RBIs and seven home runs. The outfielder also corralled a .975 fielding percentage with just four total errors across both seasons.
A native of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Clark attended Hillcrest High School and graduated from Nicholls State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.
