2024 Season (Senior): Had 22 appearances and three starts, posted a 3.84 ERA...one of eight SLC pitchers with at least six victories... recorded the third least amount of walks (15) while allowing the second least earned runs (27) ... posted seventh-best opponent batting average (.249)...in a win over McNeese, struck out five batters while allowing five hits and one run in the longest outing by a Colonel pitcher this season (7.2).

2023 Season (Junior): Was a Southland All-Academic selection for the second straight year, earning second team... logged 13 starts on the mound and 18 total appearances... finished with a 2-5 record and a 6.00 ERA... had the fourth most innings pitched on the team with 51.0... struck out 26 batters... notched victories against ULM and Mississippi Valley State... fanned a season-high eight batters in opening weekend start against Lindenwood...  made the start in the tournament win at McNeese, allowing two runs in 5.0 innings... tossed 1.0 inning in the 6-5 win over No. 1 LSU.

2022 Season (Sophomore): Named All-Southland Third Team as a starting pitcher... posted a 3-4 overall record with a 4.92 ERA and one save... struck out 47 batters in 60.1 innings... had a .263 opponent batting average... recorded a high of eight strikeouts in 6.0 inning outings against Northwestern State and Southeastern... tossed an eight-inning complete game versus the Privateers where he allowed one earned run... also contributed with a save against Southeastern.
 
2021 Season (Freshman): Made 17 appearances with nine starts on the mound... finished with a 3-4 record and a 4.23 ERA... threw 55.1 innings -- fourth most on the team... struck out 42 batters, including a high of seven in his eight-inning outing against HBU... allowed 26 earned runs and walked 20... opponents hit .233... picked up first career win on Feb. 26 against Youngstown State, throwing 2.2 innings with four strikeouts... tossed 7.2 shutout innings in win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4/10)... other win came against Lamar (4/18).

High School/Prep: Attended E.D. White Catholic High School in Thibodaux, La. ... competed with the varsity baseball program for five seasons ... recognized on the All-District team as a freshman, sophomore and junior ... named to the All-State team as a sophomore (honorable mention) and as a junior ... member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born Devin Michael Desandro on Feb. 13, 2002 in Houma, La. ... son of Donnell Hatfield and Jason Desandro ... has two brothers -- Collin Desandro and Easton Hatfield -- and one sister -- Carly Desandro ... allied health sciences major.
