2012 (R-Junior): Made just one appearance against ULM, giving up three runs on two hits and a walk in .2 innings of action.

2011 (Junior):  Appeared in 11 games out of the Nicholls bullpen, going 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA (3 ER/9.0 IP) before suffering a season-ending elbow injury ... Made his NCAA DI debut on Feb. 19 at Louisiana Tech ... Twice worked a season-best 1.2 IP: Feb. 23 against UL-Lafayette and March 22 at Tulane ... Did not allow an earned run in eight of his 11 outings ... Did not allow an earned run from Feb. 20 through March 11, a stretch of six games and 4.2 IP ... Earned the win by throwing 1.0 IP of one hit relief on Feb. 26 against St. Peter's College.

Prior to Nicholls -

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (2008-2010):  Threw 20.1 innings in 13 relief outings for the Bulldogs in 2010 ... Struck out 13 batters and walked just seven in his sophomore year ... As a freshman, recorded a 3.07 ERA in 17.0 relief outings.

Ocean Springs High School:  Helped Ocean Springs to a 2008 state 5A championship as a senior ... Named second team all-state as a senior in 2008 ... Played in Mississippi's East vs. West All-Star Game as a senior.

Personal:  The younger of Janine and Michael Baxter's two children ... Father, Michael, played football at the University of Tennessee from 1970-71.
