2012 (Junior): Began the season as a midweek starter before earning a weekend spot toward the end of the season… Made 16 appearances on the year with seven starts… Led the staff with a 7-1 record, first on the team in wins and win-loss percentage (.875)… Was second on the team in strikeouts with 54… In 67.2 innings of work, allowed 39 runs, 36 earned, on 85 hits with 23 walks to finish with a 4.79 ERA… Had a five-game winning streak from Feb. 29 to April 3… In his first weekend start, earned the win giving up two runs, scattering 12 hits with a walk and five strikeouts on a season-high 115 pitches… Earned first shutout and complete game victory over the Jackson State Tigers, giving up just two hits with one walk and career-high ten strikeouts… Earned the first win of his Nicholls career, lasting eight innings in a 9-2 win over Alcorn State Feb. 29.
