2012 (Junior): Started seven games at shortstop and appeared in 17 games… Was 5-for-27 at the plate with two RBI and six runs scored… In five at bats against Stony Brook, had two hits with an RBI and run scored… Had at least four plate appearances in three games… Reached base safely in six of the 17 games. 

2011 (Sophomore): Appeared in 33 games and made three starts on the year ... Was 7-for-21 (.333 BA) on the year and was 2-for-4 (.500 BA) as a pinch hitter ... Used primarily as a late-inning defensive replacement, did not commit an error in 34 total chances and helped turn six of the Colonels' 63 double plays, a total that ranked tenth in the nation ... As a defense, the Colonels' average of double plays turned/game of 1.11 ranked 15th nationally ... Recorded his first hit of the season, an RBI single, as part of a 1-for-2 day agaisnt St. Peter's on Feb. 26 ... Was 1-for-1 with two runs scored on May 7 against Southeastern La.

2010 (Freshman): Made eight starts and appeared in 20 games as a freshman ... Hit .270 (10-for-37) with nine runs and five RBI ... Recorded his first career hit in his first career plate appearance, a pinch-hit RBI single on March 3 against Arkansas-Monticello, would later score his first career run that game ... Turned in his first career multi-RBI game on March 6 against Southern, going 1-for-4 with two runs driven in ... Went 2-for-4 with an RBI against Lamar on March 12 for his first career multi-hit game.

St. Pius High X School: Named first team all-district and second team all-state after leading St. Pius High School to the 2009 Texas State 6A High School CHampionship.

Personal: The second of Daniel and Laura Eureste[apos]s three children ... Has one younger brother, Matthew (16), and one older sister, Danielle (25) ... Was a member of the National Honor Society at St. Pius HS.
