2012 (R-Freshman): Did not play in 2012 earning a medical redshirt.

2011 (Freshman):  Appeared in three games and scored one run before being sidelined the rest of the year with a shoulder injury ... Made his collegiate debut on Feb. 26 against St. Peter's, going 0-for-1 in the first game of a double header ... Returned for the second game of the double header against St. Peter's to score his first career run on Feb. 26.

Prior to Nicholls -

Spanish Fort High School:  Lettered in football and baseball ... Named all-county and all-state in football in 2009 ... A three-time all-county honoree in baseball.

Personal:  The younger of Paul and Susan Runnels' two children ... Has an older sister, Brooke (20).
