2010 Season (Junior): Saw action in all 11 games with six starts on the defensive line… recorded 18 tackles (10 solo) with two sacks… had career-best outings against Western Michigan and Texas State, finishing with five tackles and a sack.

2009 Season (Sophomore): Played in 10 games with eight starts on the defensive line… totaled 21 tackles (12 solo) and 1.5 tackles for a loss… recorded one sack and one forced fumble… had three quarterback pressures… best performance came in the season finale against Southeastern La. with four total tackles that included a sack and a forced fumble.

2008 Season (Freshman): Played in six games, primarily as a backup to the defensive line.

2007 Season: Redshirted.

At Thibodaux High School: Made 66 tackles, recorded three sacks, forced two fumbles and had four tackles for a loss in his only season playing football in 2006... was named to the all-bayou region, all-parish and all-district teams as a senior... played basketball for three seasons before making the transition to the gridiron.

Personal: Son of Pearlette and Alfred Carter... has two younger siblings named Andrew and Rachel... cousin Jason Caffey played basketball at Alabama... majoring in mass communications.
