2017 Season (Junior): Starting safety for the third consecutive season, playing all 12 games... received All-Southland Second Team honors... was third on the team in tackles with 61 (39 solo)... had 8.0 tackles for loss... totaled a season high nine tackles in regular season finale at Southeastern Louisiana... finished with seven or more tackles in five games, including eight in the opening win over McNeese... had 2.0 tackles for loss in three different contests... broke up two passes... recovered a fumble against HBU.

2016 Season (Sophomore): Started at safety for the second straight season... was fifth on the team in tackles with 53 (30 solo)... had 2.5 tackles for loss... finished with nine tackles in win at HBU... had two interceptions and one pass breakup... recovered a fumble at Georgia.

2015 Season (Freshman): Played in all 11 games at safety as a true freshman, starting in nine… was fourth on the team in tackles with 59 (38 solo) including one for loss… had a personal-best 10 tackles against Sam Houston State and Lamar… led the team with five pass break ups and three interceptions… returned his three picks for a total of 64 yards… had a forced fumble at Northwestern State and recovered one against Central Arkansas… his 10 tackles and key interception at Lamar earned him Louisiana Sports Writers Player of the Week and FCS National Freshman of the Week honorable mention… named team’s Defensive Newcomer of the Year.
 
At East St. John: Was a four-year starter for the Wildcats' defense… also played various positions on offense… received first-team All-District 7-5A three times… garnered All-Parish Defensive MVP… had 14 career interceptions, returning four for touchdowns… garnered first-team All-District in baseball as an infielder in 2014… played for head coach Phillip Banko.
 
Personal: Born Feb. 17, 1997... parents are Richard and Qiana Martin...has two siblings, Ronnell and Qiara... majoring in mathematics.
