2019 Season (Junior): Played in all 14 games, starting at linebacker... finished with 66 tackles including 33 solo... had 2.5 sacks with 6.5 tackles for loss... posted a career-high 10 tackles against Abilene Christian... also had nine stops and a sack in the win at UIW... recorded his first career sack in win at Stephen F. Austin... other sack came at Sam Houston State.

2018 Season (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in all 13 games and started at linebacker... totaled 38 tackles with 20 solo... had 0.5 tackles for loss and broke up two passes... had a season-high eight tackles in playoff game at Eastern Washington... recorded six tackles in two straight games - Sam Houston State and Lamar.

2017 Season (Redshirt Freshman): Played in all 12 games at linebacker and on special teams... finished with 16 tackles (8 solo)... totaled a season-best five tackles against Texas A&M... had three stops at UIW... sat out the 2016 season, receiving a redshirt.

At St. James: Named First-Team Class 3A All-State as a linebacker… also received 2015 The Courier/Daily Comet All-Region and was Defensive MVP… helped St. James to a 11-4 record and an appearance in the state title game… finished his senior season with 84 tackles, 28 assisted stops, 14 tackles for loss, six sacks, two interceptions and two defensive TDs… played in the LHSCA/LFCA All-Star football game.

Personal: Born Aug. 13, 1998 in Houma... son of Antoinette Steib... his cousin, Shelly Cayette, played women's basketball at Tulane before playing overseas... his godfather, Milton Cayette, ran track and graduated from Nicholls... majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
