At Riverside Academy: Was a four-sport athlete for the Rebels participating in football, basketball, track and field and powerlifting... named to the all-district, all-metro, and all-river parish squads in football his senior season... played in the Bayou River Parish Showdown All-Star Game.

Personal: Born on January 21, 1989 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana... his parents are Connie and Jeff... has one sister named Nikki Calmes... majoring in allied health.
