2012 Season (Junior): Played in 10 games... finished with 9 receptions for 77 yards... had two multi-catch games, including season-best 15 yards on two receptions against McNeese.

2011 Season (Sophomore):  Played in 10 games… finished the season with nine receptions for 117 yards… caught a pass in six out of the 10 games that he played… had three receptions against Northwestern State… hauled in the longest reception of his career against Lamar (34 yards).

2010 Season (Freshman): Saw action in all 11 games as a true freshman including eight starts… was fifth on the team with 150 yards receiving on 12 receptions (12.5 ypr)… hauled in a 33-yard reception against Sam Houston State en route to his best outing, three catches for 55 yards… had one solo tackle.

At Catholic High: Two-time All-District selection in District 5-5A, notching first-team honors in 2009... named All-State honorable mention as a senior... led the team his senior year with 69 receptions for 1,110 yards and 11 touchdowns... lettered in basketball.

Personal: Born on October 6, 1991 in Baton Rouge, La… son of Susan and Robert Nelson… has three older siblings: Kelly, Kim and Jimmy… majoring in biology.
