2019 Season (Senior): Started on the defensive line... racked up 30 tackles, including 12 solo... had 3.5 tackles for loss with three sacks... put together a career game in the win against Central Arkansas, totaling six tackles and his first career sack... had an 11-yard sack against McNeese... also recorded a sack in the River Bell Classic at Southeastern Louisiana... recovered a fumble in the playoff win against North Dakota.

2018 Season (Junior): Anchored the interior of the defense line, starting in all 13 games... received All-Southland honorable mention... totaled 21 tackles, including one solo... recorded a tackle in 11 games... finished with a career-high four tackles in playoff game at Eastern Washington. 

2017 Season (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in 11 games on the defensive line... finished with 11 tackles (5 solo)... tallied a season-high three tackles against Prairie View A&M.

2016 Season (Sophomore): Played in three games before suffering a season-ending injury... logged three tackles, with two coming at Georgia... received a redshirt.

2015 Season (Freshman): Played in nine games on the defense line as a true freshman… saw his first career action at Incarnate Word… had 10 stops on the year, with eight being solo… had a career-best four tackles at Sam Houston State.
 
At Tara: Started on the offensive and defensive lines for the Trojans… earned four letters in football… garnered all-district twice on offense and twice on defense… played in the U.S. Army Red Stick Bowl… also competed on the track and field team, lettering three years… was a two-time regional qualifier in shot put… was a Tara High SLC Tutor and member of the Honors College… played for head coach Cooter Mansur.
 
Personal: Born Oct. 18, 1996 in Mamou, La. ... son of Patrick and Stacy Fontenot... has two older brothers, Patrick and Jordan... majoring in petroleum engineering technology and safety management.
