2009 Season (Junior): Started in eight games at tackle… sustained an injury that limited him in some games, sidelining him for three complete games.

2008 Season (Sophomore): Played in seven games as a sophomore.

2009 Season (Freshman): Played in every game but two as a true freshman... served as a backup to the offensive guards.

At Oak Ridge High School: Started two seasons on the offensive line... helped lead the War Eagles back to the playoffs in his senior season... first team all-district selection and first team all-county in 2006... served as team captain his senior season... won the Mike Watson Memorial Award as a senior for his outstanding play on the offensive line.
