2017 Season (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in five games... recorded his first career reception on a 26-yard catch against Prairie View A&M.

2016 Season (Redshirt Freshman): Member of the practice squad... received a redshirt in 2015.
 
At Shaw: Was a three-year starter for the Eagles… caught 27 passes for 575 yards and seven touchdowns in his senior season… received all-district honors in the high jump… played for head coach Scott Bairnsfather.
 
Personal: Born Oct. 2, 1996... parents are Milton and Deirdre Simmons... has an older brother, Bryan... his cousin, Dwayne Eugene, was a linebacker at Arkansas... majoring in petroleum engineering technology.
