Biography

2019 Season (Senior):  Returned to the wide receiver position.. played in five games, seeing time on special team... recorded a tackle in the win at Stephen F. Austin.  

2018 Season (Junior):  Served as the Colonels backup quarterback, seeing action in nine games... completed 2 of 4 pass attempts for 24 yards... rushed 22 times for 122 yards... rushed for 40 yards on four carries against Lamar... had six carries for 44 yards and completed a pass in win over UIW... completed a 24-yard pass at HBU, and rushed eight times for 40 yards with 33 coming on a career-long rush.

2017 Season (Redshirt Sophomore): Made the switch from quarterback to wide receiver... saw action in three games - Prairie View, Abilene Christian and Stephen F. Austin... sat out 2016 and received a redshirt in 2015, earning Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year. 
 
At Woodlawn: Was a three-year starter for the Panthers… at quarterback, threw for 1,921 yards and 19 touchdowns while rushing for 904 yards and eight scores as a senior… earned first-team All-District… named Sportsline Player of the Week after combining for 291 yards and four touchdowns in win over ranked Easton… played in the U.S. Army Red Stick Bowl… earned all-district honors as a junior… played for head coach Brett Beard.

Personal: Born Aug. 22, 1997... son of Valarie Roberts... has one brother, Chris Ferdinand, and two sisters, Iesha and Chloe Ferdinand... majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
