2015 Season (Junior): Made the switch to the defensive backfield, playing in 10 games including one start… logged a start at cornerback at Colorado… had nine tackles (seven solo)… tallied a career-best six tackles in the opener at ULM.
 
2014 Season (Sophomore): Played in 11 games at running back and on special teams... had three carries for seven yards... caught a pass for seven yards... returned 13 kickoffs for 198 yards, averaging 15.2 yards per return... his best return of 28 yards came at North Texas.
 
2013 Season (Freshman): Appeared in 10 games on special teams and as a backup running back… had seven carries for 36 yards, averaging 5.1 yards per carry… best game came against Central Arkansas where he had five carries for 31 yards… had one kick return for 18 yards… had two tackles.
 
At St. Michael: Named LSWA 4A All-State honorable as a senior after rushing for 761 yards and nine touchdowns… received second-team all-district as a kick returner in 2012… helped lead the Warriors to a 7-3 record and an appearance in the postseason… as a junior, earned second-team all-district as a defensive back and kick returner.
 
Personal: Born Feb. 28, 1994 in New Orleans... parents are Chuka and Tonia Okpalobi... has four siblings - Brandon, Pauline, ChiChi and Frances... his brother Brandon played basketball for the University of Miami... majoring in business management/ marketing.
