Aric Flowers joined the Colonel football coaching staff as an offensive assistant for the 2013 season.

Flowers, a native of Plano, Texas, lettered four years for the Colonels as an offensive lineman. In his senior season in 2009, Flowers was named second-team All-Southland. After leaving Nicholls, he spent two seasons playing professionally in the arena leagues. 

Flowers earned his bachelor's degree in secondary education from Nicholls in 2009 and is currently pursuing a master's in health and physical education.
