Justin Anderson is in his fifth season as wide receivers coach for the Colonel football program, and first as assistant head coach and tight ends coach.

Last season, receiver Erik Buchanan had a breakout year under Anderson, finishing with 507 receiving yards and five touchdowns. He also set a program record, averaging 24.1 yards per catch.

Anderson came to Nicholls after serving as an offensive graduate assistant at his alma mater, Brigham Young University.

Before returning back to BYU, Anderson spent four years as the offensive coordinator at Harmony High School in St. Cloud, Fla.  Under his expertise, the Longhorns won a district championship and he helped many prep athletes go on to compete on the collegiate level.

Anderson is married to the former Anne Stock and the couple resides in Thibodaux with their four daughters: Dakota (12), Kenedi (10), Rubee (8), and Peyton (5) and one-year old son, Jayce.Â
