Nicholls State University

At Nicholls (Baseball): Logged 64 starts in his two seasons with the Nicholls baseball team… helped lead the Colonels to back-to-back top three finishes in the Southland… was third on the team in batting average in 2015, hitting .275… had 12 RBIs and 25 runs scored… led the conference with 12 sacrifice bunts… started 20 games as a junior, recording 21 hits, 12 runs scored and seven RBIs.

At Pearl River C.C.: Played first two seasons at Pearl River Community College where he was a MACJC second team all-state selection and a Region 23 Gold Glove award winner… hit .311 at the plate with a .408 on-base percentage and .981 fielding percentage as a senior... led the team in runs scored crossing the plate 55 times while tallying 37 RBIs…

At Pearl High: Was a Class 5A all-state selection as a senior in 2011, as well as being selected to the state all-star baseball game... was a second team all-region football player... excelled in powerlifting, winning individual state championships at the 148 and 165 pound classes, including three consecutive powerlifting team championships... graduated with distinction from PHS.

Personal: Born July 12 in Pearl, Miss... son of Dwight and Vickie Knight... has three siblings in Tylan, Austin and Landin... is the cousin of Bianca Knight, gold medalist and world record holder as a member of the women's 4x100-meter relay at the London Olympics... majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
