2017 Season (Senior): Was the backup kicker... had one field goal attempt, connecting on a 21-yard field goal against Prairie View A&M... finished with 10 career field goals.

2016 Season (Junior): Served as the primary kicker after two years as a backup... made 9-of-18 field goals and 38-of-39 extra points... made two field goals in three different games... connected on a career long 46-yarder at UCA... kicked a 35-yard field goal with six seconds remaining against HBU to send the game into overtime... led the team with 65 points scored... averaged 52.4 yards on kickoffs and had four touchbacks... was 3-for-4 on onside kicks, including two in the final minutes against Southeastern Louisiana.

At Denham Springs: Played football for the Yellow Jackets... garnered all-parish as a kicker in 2010 and 2012... member of the National Honor Society and Key Club... graduated with Honors.
 
Personal: Born April 4, 1995 in Baton Rouge... parents are Ricky McKey and Mary Poplin... has four older siblings - Michelle, Melissa, Brandon and Haley... his uncle John Sanders was a kicker at Nicholls from 1982-85... is a double major in management and marketing, set to graduate in December.
