2011 Season (Senior): Rebounded from a knee injury to play in nine games… finished the season with three receptions for 54 yards… best game came against Steven F. Austin, where he had two catches for 41 yards and a season long reception of 31 yards.

2010 Season (Senior): Suffered a season-ending knee injury in the spring.

2009 Season (Junior): Played in nine games, starting eight at wide receiver… had 13 receptions for 159 yards… averaged 12.2 yards a catch… first collegiate catch came against Air Force Academy… had two receptions for 29 yards against Sam Houston State… had two games with three catches, coming in consecutive weeks against McNeese State and Stephen F. Austin… best performance came against Stephen F. Austin with three receptions for 59 yards that also included a career long of 38 yards.

At East Central CC: Finished his sophomore campaign with 38 receptions for 498 yards and six touchdowns... was a finalist for 'Who’s Who Among Junior Colleges... tapped into the Top-10 in the junior college ranks for yards per catch... was an All-State honorable mention in 2008.

At Hattiesburg: Helped lead the Tigers to the state playoffs... posted 39 catches for 567 yards and three touchdowns as a senior... was team captain and was dubbed Team MVP... garnered All-South Mississippi honors, while also picking up All-Area accolades.

Personal: Born on November 6, 1988 in Fayetteville, North Carolina... son of Tremaine and Frederick Tate... father played football at Southern Miss... has three siblings: Damon, De’Andrea and Tyjuan... majoring in general studies.
