At Minnesota: Spent two seasons with the Golden Gophers, redshirting his first year… spent most of his playing time contributing to special teams, while also serving a limited role as a linebacker.

At Edna Karr: Two-time Class 4A All-State honoree… left Edna Karr with the career record in sacks (28)… helped lead the Cougars to an 11-2 record and an appearance in the third round of the state playoffs in 2009… played with current teammate Brian Lewis.
