2023 Season (Junior): Started at center for the fourth consecutive season... anchored the offensive line for the Colonels, who averaged an SLC best 33.2 points per game in conference games... Nicholls had the top two rushers in the Southland as the offense averaged nearly 220 yards on the ground in league play... named All-Southland First Team for the third time.

2022 Season (Sophomore): Continued to lead the Colonel offensive front, helping Nicholls to the No. 3 rushing offense in league play at 182.8 yards per game... was an All-Southland selection for the third time in as many seasons... unit paved the way for running back Julien Gums, who earned All-SLC First Team for the second time in his career... in the passing game, the offensive line ranked second in the Southland in fewest sacks allowed.

2021 Season (Freshman): Started at center for the second straight season... earned All-Southland Second Team and named to two freshman all-American squads... Colonels had the No. 4 total offense in the FCS, which also ranked fifth in rushing... team featured the top two rushers in the Southland Conference... line ranked No. 1 in the nation in fewest tackles for loss allowed and eighth in sacks allowed... backfield registered 14 100-yard rushing performances by four different players.

2021 Spring Season (Freshman): Started at center as a true freshman... named All-Southland First Team... one of just seven true freshmen to earn All-Southland and was one of two on first team... blocked for one of the top offenses in the FCS, which ranked first in scoring (48.7 ppg) and third in rushing offense (263.4 ypg)... offense featured two of the top 5 rushers in the Southland in Lindsey Scott Jr. (79.6 ypg) and Julien Gums (77.8)... line was second in the Southland in sacks allowed with 12.

At St. Charles Catholic: Was a dominant blocker in the run and pass game for the Comets... earned Louisiana Sports Writers 2A All-State First Team and All-Metro Small School First Team as a senior... offense ran behind him 66 percent of the time as he allowed only two sacks in 13 games... named district Offensive MVP in his junior season... was named Louisiana Coaches Association composite all-state as a junior... member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Personal: Birthday is March 28... parents are Melissa and Terry Roussel... has five older siblings, Ryan, Cary, Samy, Janey, and Maddie... majoring in pre-athletic training.
