2022 Season (Freshman): Saw action in seven games and had one start... logged his first career start in a win against Jackson State (4/6)... both runs scored were game-winners in the final inning against Southeastern (3/25) and McNeese (4/3).

High School/Prep: Played baseball at Sam Houston in Lake Charles... named Under Armor Baseball Factory Preseason All-American as a senior... also garnered all-district honors... was a Perfect Game All-Southwest Region selection in his junior season.

Personal: Born August 25, 2003... parents are David and Julie Thompson... has an older brother, Gabe... majoring in health and performance education... career ambition is to coach high school or college baseball.
