- Ranks 1st all-time in rushing with 3,429 yards, surpassing Josh Son (2,658) vs. Jacksonville State (9/24/22)
- Is only the 15th player in Southland history to rush for 3,000 yards, finishing ninth all-time in rushing 

- Set program career records for rushing touchdowns (36) and overall touchdowns (37) in his final game

2021 Season (Junior):  Appeared in the first four games as the starting running back before missing the rest of the season with an injury... rushed for 313 yards and two touchdowns on 49 carries... averaged 6.4 yards per carry and 78.3 yards per game... rushed for 48 yards on 13 carries at Memphis in the opener... had 21 yards on 11 carries against Louisiana... set a school record with his 10th career 100-yard game, rushing for 139 yards on 19 carries in win over North Alabama... rushed for 105 yards on just six carries in the first quarter against HBU before leaving with a season-ending injury. Had a 67-yard run against the Huskies... recorded a reception in three different games, totaling 23 yards.

2021 Spring Season (Junior): Played in six games, rushing for 467 yards and eight touchdowns on 91 carries... averaged 5.8 yards per carry and 77.8 per game, earning All-Southland Second Team... recorded two 100-yard games to tie program's mark of nine 100-yard games... rushed a career-high 36 times in win at Northwestern State, totaling 156 yards rushing and one touchdown... rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries at McNeese. Started game with a season-long 58-yard rush... tied single-game program record with four rushing touchdowns in River Bell Classic, with three coming in the first half. Totaled 67 yards on 18 carries against the Lions... started the season with 61 yards on 11 carries against Lincoln... finished with 53 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries in win over Lamar... suffered an injury at Sam Houston, finishing with nine yards on four carries... missed the next game against UIW before returning for the final two games... also had six receptions for 19 yards. 

2019 Season (Sophomore): Had a breakout sophomore campaign, earning All-Southland First Team... set the program's single-season records with 1,232 yards rushing and 16 touchdowns on 214 carries... averaged 88.0 yards rushing per game and 5.8 yards per carry, both ranking second in the Southland... his 16 rushing TDs led the SLC and tied for 11th in the FCS... also ranked 11th in nation in total rushing yards... had five 100-yard games, tying the program single-season record... set career-highs in the win at UIW with 178 yards rushing and 23 carries, and had two rushing touchdowns... rushed for 172 yards on 16 carries in the playoff victory against North Dakota... totaled 133 yards rushing and a touchdown on 18 carries in win at Southeastern Louisiana... rushed for three TDs and 135 yards at Stephen F. Austin...also had a three-touchdown effort against HBU, finishing with 104 yards on 22 carries... against Central Arkansas, finished with two rushing TDs and 51 yards on five carries... scored two touchdowns and rushed for 79 yards against Abilene Christian... opened the season with 75 yards and a touchdown at Kansas State...  also had a rushing TD against Prairie View A&M and McNeese... rushed for 77 yards at North Dakota State... finished the season with 22 receptions for 164 yards... had four catches for 49 yards against Northwestern State, including his first career TD reception... named All-Louisiana Second Team.

2018 Season (Freshman): Played in eight games as a true freshman and finished fourth on the team in rushing with 544 yards... totaled 80 carries for a 6.8 average and scored six touchdowns.... recorded two 100-yard games, highlighted by a 152-yard effort in his Colonel debut against Lamar... had just 10 carries against LU and scored on a 68-yard rush... named STATS FCS National Freshman of the Week honorable mention for his outing against the Cardinals... carried the ball 14 times for 121 yards and two scores in River Bell Classic against Southeastern Louisiana... rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries at Northwestern State... had over 40 yards rushing in four straight games and scored a touchdown against Stephen F. Austin... rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown in playoff win against San Diego... had a 6-yard catch at Abilene Christian.

At De La Salle: Was named LSWA 3A Offensive Most Valuable Player and unanimous First Team All-State selection… rated as a two-star recruit by 247Sports… was named Top 100 Player in Louisiana by Dandy Don … led the Cavaliers to an 11-1 record and an appearance in the LHSAA Division II state title game for first time in 56 years… rushed for 1,203 yards and 15 touchdowns and threw for 1,181 yards and 13 touchdowns in his senior campaign… directed offense that averaged 41.2 points and garnered Offensive Player of the Year on The New Orleans Advocate’s All-Metro Team for Small Schools… named Greater New Orleans Amateur Athlete of the Month for September after totaling 12 touchdowns and leading De La Salle to a win over 4A champion Edna Karr, and D-III champ Riverside… named all-state and all-metro as a junior after passing for 1,141 yards and 20 touchdowns and rushing for 575 yards and 10 TDs.

Personal: Born May 2, 1999... son of Juliette Clark... has three brothers - Herbert and Jeremiah Gums, and Fred Clark, and two sisters - Haley and Chante Gums... majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
