2019 Season (Junior): Played in nine games... saw time on special teams and in the defensive backfield... totaled four tackles, with two coming in the win against Northwestern State... had his first career interception at Texas State, returning it three yards... also had a tackle against the Bobcats... other stop came against Abilene Christian.

2018 Season (Junior): Member of the practice squad... received a redshirt.

At E.D White: Played football and basketball for the Cardinals… named 8-3A First Team All-District in 2015 and '16... also earned All-Region First Team in both seasons… was an honorable mention All-District recipient for basketball in 2016... played most minutes in basketball in E.D. White history... played varsity in both sports in eighth grade.

Personal: Born Feb. 3, 1998 in Donaldsonville... parents are Chiaki and Kevin Brooks... has two younger brothers, Nicholas and Kristian, and a younger sister, Lyric... his cousin, Randall Gay, played at LSU and for the New Orleans Saints... his uncle, Robert Joseph, played at Texas... cousin, Beaunca Lewis, ran track at Nicholls in 2014... majoring in petroleum services.
