At Adams County Christian: Played four years for the Rebels... named MAIS 4A All-State as a senior... help AAC capture the MAIS AAA State title and two district titles in his junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Birthday is June 5... parents are Ron and Kiwianis Barnes... his twin brother, Kyron, also played at Southern Miss before transferring to Nicholls... has an older sister, Zharia... cousin of former NFL All-Pro players Steve McNair and Eric Berry... majoring in sports coaching/kinesiology... career goal is to play in the NFL or go to PT school to become a license physical therapist and coach football.
