At Southern Miss: Spent three seasons with the Golden Eagles... redshirted in 2024... played in 11 games as a sophomore, starting five games at right tackle... also played on special teams... started five times at right tackle as a true freshman and played in nine games.

At Adams County Christian: Played four years for the Rebels... named MAIS 4A All-State as a senior... help ACC capture the MAIS AAA State title and two district titles in his junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Birthday is June 5... parents are Ron and Kiwianis Barnes... his twin brother, Kamron, also played at Southern Miss before transferring to Nicholls... has an older sister, Zharia... cousin of former NFL All-Pro players Steve McNair and Eric Berry... majoring in sports coaching/kinesiology... career goal is to be a sports coach or physical therapist.
