2019 Season (Freshman): Saw the field in two games as a true freshman... played in the opener at Kansas State and against Central Arkansas... recorded a tackle against K-State... received a redshirt.

At Horn Lake: Earned Clarion Ledger Composite All-State First Team as a senior, helping Eagles to a MHSSA 6A title with a 15-0 record… finished with 68 tackles, 17.0 for loss, seven sacks, a safety, and returned a fumble for a touchdown… earned a spot in the Bernard North/South All-Star game… named Clarion Ledger’s MSPreps Athlete of the Week after tallying 10 tackles with six for loss and three sacks in win over Oxford.

Personal: Born May 1, 2001... parents are Cedric and Tara Tate... majoring in project management.
