2023 Season (Junior): Started for the defense, finishing fourth on the team with 51 tackles... accounted for 32 solo stops and 4.0 tackles for loss... logged a career high nine tackles in title showdown at UIW... had a sack in the home finale against Lamar... was second on the team with three interceptions... returned his first pick 22 yards for a touchdown at McNeese... also had interceptions in victories over A&M-Commerce and UIW... broke up three passes.

2022 Season (Junior): Started the season opener at linebacker before missing the rest of the season with an injury... recorded five tackles with four solo and had one pass breakup at South Alabama... received a redshirt.

2021 Season (Sophomore): Played in all 11 games at linebacker in his first season with the Colonels... totaled 21 tackles (17 solo) with 3.5 for loss... best game came in win at HBU where he totaled four tackles with 1.5 sacks... also had three three-tackle games including season opener at Memphis.

At Kilgore: Named All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference First Team in 2021 after ranking 15th in the league in tackles with 7.4 per game... also had three sacks, a forced fumble and an interception... helped the Rangers to a 7-1 record... earned second-team in 2019 as Kilgore claimed a SWJCFC title.

At Hightower: Was a two-time all-district first team selection in 2018 and '16... earned second team as a junior... named 2019 Houston Touchdown Club semifinalist... garnered academic all-district in all four seasons.

Personal: Born March 27... parents are Dietra and Roderick Sharkey... has two older sisters, Tatyana and Jazzlyn Sharkey... majoring in business administration.
