2012 Season (Senior): Played in all 11 games... split time at linebacker and defensive line... was 7th on the team with 46 tackles (25 solo)... led the team with 10 tackles for loss... had a team-high 4 sacks... recorded 1 pass breakup... had a season-high 6 tackles twice... tallied 3 tackles for loss at Northwestern State. 

2011 Season (Junior):  Started all 11 games… was fifth on the team with 44 tackles (30 solo)… had four tackles for loss including two sacks… forced fumble against McNeese… broke up three passes… blocked three kicks on the season (one FG, two PATs)… best game came against ULL where he recorded a career-high nine tackles (2.5 for a loss) and a sack.

2010 Season (Sophomore): Saw action in all 11 games including eight starts… tallied 37 tackles (21 solo)… tied for the team-lead with six tackles for loss for 22 yards… had three sacks and forced two fumbles… broke up two passes… best game was vs. McNeese State where he had seven tackles (five solo) and two forced fumbles.

2009 Season (Freshman): Played in 10 of the Colonels’ 11 games as a true freshman… had a total of 13 tackles with six being solo… recorded an assisted sack and a tackle for a loss… had a quarterback hurry and one forced fumble… best performance came against Central Arkansas with seven stops (five solo) and a forced fumble.

At Central: Named first-team All-City and All-Region for the Macon and Central Georgia area... had 71 total tackles his senior season... credited with 15.5 sacks and 25.5 tackles for a loss... forced five fumbles and recovered another three... finished 2008 with 10 pass breakups.

Personal: Born on May 29, 1990 in Macon, Ga... son of Lanita Knight and Terrence Ruff... has two younger siblings named Dewan Owens and Kyra Burnett... majoring in sociology.
