At Ottawa: Played under Coach Carrier as a member of the Braves squad, in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.

At Canyon: Played for Guy Crenshaw and Jason Underwood as a member of the Eagles squad... Named to the All-District team in 2014... Named to the All-Tournament Team, Decatur, Texas in 2014... Led Canyon in both steals and assists over the 2013 and 2014 seasons... Member of the chess club and book club.

Personal: Son of Neal and Kristi Weaver, Brett was born on July 11 in Sherman, Texas... Brett's father Neal serves as Nicholls Vice President for University Advancement, and also played basketball in college at Oklahoma Panhandle State... Brett's brother Austin is a kicker for the Southeastern Oklahoma football team and his brother Blake plays baseball for West Texas A&M... Brett is majoring in Business Administration.
