Tyler Parker joined Coach Riley's staff in August 2017 after spending the last two seasons as associate head coach of the Shorter University men's basketball team.

He also compiled a 23-9 overall record with Crowley's Ridge College (2014-15) and a 43-17 mark as assistant coach at Faulkner University (2012-14).

Parker started at guard for the Eagles during the 2011-12 season when they made a semifinal appearance at the SSAC Tournament.
