2017 Season (Junior): Three-year starter at center, starting all 12 games.. earned All-Southland Second Team.. graded out at 84 percent, allowing no sacks and had seven pancakes… offensive line paved way for seven 100-yard rushing performances by four different players… RB Kyran Irvin was second in SLC in rushing yards per game… Nicholls ranked second in SLC in rushing, helped by one 400-yard game and one 300-yard outing… unit allowed only 20 sacks, which was fourth fewest in the SLC.

2016 Season (Sophomore): Started all 11 games at center... named All-Southland honorable mention for the second time in as many seasons.

2015 Season (Freshman): Played in all 11 games as a true freshman, starting the final eight at center… played a key role in reducing the team’s sacks allowed by nearly 50 percent, going from 56 last season to 29 in 2015… named All-Southland honorable mention… received team’s award for Offensive Newcomer of the Year.
 
At Rummel: Was a three-year starter at guard for the Raiders… named Class 5A All-State in his junior and senior seasons… as a senior, team rushed for over 217.6 yards per game, averaging 5.7 yards per carry… also garnered All-Metro and All-District twice… helped Rummel to state titles in 2012 and 2013… named to Clarion Herald's Elite Football Team… competes in wrestling at the heavyweight division… played for head coach and Nicholls alum Jay Roth.
 
Personal: Born April 9, 1997... parents are Karyn Canales and James Hanley... has five siblings - Tyler, Camryn, Emily, Jordyn and Sawyer... majoring in business administration.
