2016-17 Season (Senior): Finished the spring with a 5-10 record in singles... was 5-6 on the No. 2 court and 0-4 at No. 1... posted a 1-4 mark in the Southland, winning in straight sets against New Orleans... had four victories in a row, claiming shutouts in five of the eight sets... captured a straight-set win at No. 8 Texas A&M... had a 5-3 record in doubles, going 1-1 in conference... was 5-2 at No. 1 and 0-1 at No. 2... advanced to the quarterfinal of consultation draw at the ITA Southern Regionals… picked up a 6-3 6-1 win over LSU’s Julian Saborio at Regionals… reached semifinal flight 2 of Big Easy Classic… went 1-2 in doubles… Student Athletic Advisory Council (SAAC) Officer… Received Colonel Leaders and Scholars Award (Who’s Who) which honors the university’s highest achievers in extracurricular activities and academics.
2015-2016 Season (Junior): Went 6-7 in singles with a 3-2 record in Southland play… was 0-1 at No.1, 1-0 at No.2, 1-1 at No.3, 3-4 at No.4, and 1-1 at No.5… picked up a 6-1 7-5 win at No.3 over #8 Texas A&M’s James Martell… was 6-8 in doubles with a 3-2 mark in conference… 2016 All-Southland Conference Honorable Mention honoree… Earned Honorable Mention of the Week (4/12/2016, 4/5/2016)… Student Athletic Advisory Council (SAAC) President… Made Honor’s list (fall) and President’s list (spring).
2014-2015 Season (Sophomore): Went 8-8 in singles with a 2-1 record in Southland play… was 0-7 at No. 1, 0-1 at No. 2, 1-0 at No. 3, 6-0 at No. 5, and 1-0 at No. 6… only colonel to get a 6-4 6-4 win over #60 Texas A&M - Corpus Christi’s Javier Pujol at the semifinal of the Southland Conference Tournament… Dropped 6-7 6-1 0-1 match to #2 Baylor’s Felipe Rios at Rice Invitational… went 5-8 in doubles with a 2-3 mark in conference… was 0-1 at No. 1, 2-4 at No.2, and 3-3 at No. 3… teamed up with E. Karatzas at No. 3 for a 6-3 win over #48 Mississippi State… Earned Honorable Mention of the Week (3/31/2015)… Received Bronze Academic Medal at Athletic Banquet… Made Honor’s list.
2013-2014 Season (Freshman): Went 9-10 in singles with a 3-2 record in Southland play.. played most of his matches at No.5, going 8-6… was 1-2 at No. 4 and 0-2 at No. 6… won six matches in straight sets… had a five-match winning streak… clinched the match against Troy with a 7-6(8-6) 7-6(8-6) win… was 5-5 in doubles with a 2-1 mark in conference… went 4-2 at No.3, 1-1 at No.2 and 0-2 at No. 1… Received Silver Academic Medal at Athletic Banquet… Made President’s List (fall) and Dean’s list (spring).
