2023 Season (Junior): Played in the outfield and at first base, starting all 53 games... named All-Southland First Team and All-Louisiana Second Team... was also a Southland All-Tournament and Academic First Team selection... ranked fifth in the Southland in batting (.342) and RBIs (40)... totaled 53 hits with 10 doubles, two triples, and five home runs... also ranked in the Top 10 of the SLC in slugging (.529/8th), hits (10th), home runs (9th), and sacrifice flies (5/5th)... drew eight walks and three hit-by-pitches... put down three sacrifices... had 23 runs scored and five stolen bases... had three game-winning RBIs in extra innings, including two walk-offs hits at home... tied for the team lead with 14 multi-hit games... also tied for the team's longest hitting streak with 12 games... homered in 4-3 loss at No. 20 LSU... hit a homer and drove in four runs in win over Texas A&M-Commerce.
2022 Season (Sophomore): Started all 48 games played, seeing time in outfield and at first base... finished with a .266 batting average, totaling 38 hits with six doubles and eight home runs... her home run total tied for fourth in the Southland... led the team with 29 RBIs and had 17 runs scored... racked up eight multi-hit efforts, posted a team-high .476 slugging percentage... drew three walks and four hit-by-pitches... had two sac flies and two sac bunts... was 1 for 2 in stolen bases... homered in back-to-back games against Eastern Kentucky and No. 2 Alabama... posted a 4 for 4 outing in a win over Alabama State, hitting a 3-run homer and added an RBI single for four RBIs... named Southland Hitter of the Week for her performance that weekend where she hit .562 with nine hits -- five singles, two home runs, two doubles, and drove in six.
2021 Season (Freshman): Played in 21 games with 13 starts in her first season... saw time at first base, outfield, and designated player... had seven hits with two home runs for a .184 batting average... drove in seven runs and scored four... had two walks, two hit-by-pitches, and two sacrifice flies... was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and hit her first career homer in win over Alabama State... also had a two-hit game against Southeastern... homered at South Alabama.
At Haynes Academy: Played varsity for six years for the Yellow Jackets, earning all-district each season... was a Louisiana Sports Writers Association and Louisiana Softball Coaches Association All-State honoree as a junior... also named NOLA.com All-Metro... played travel ball for the Marucci Patriots and Nola RBI... was a four-year honor roll student... member of the National, Spanish, Mu Alpha Theta (Math), Science, and English National Honor Societies.Â
Personal: Birthday is May 9... parents are Paul and Nancy Poche’... her older brother, Cristian, played baseball at the University of New Orleans... majoring in allied health... career goal is to become a physical therapist.
