At Tulane: Appeared in all 12 games as a redshirt sophomore with the Green Wave… played in one game as a redshirt freshman.

At John Curtis: Was a three-year letterman at John Curtis where he saw time at center and left tackle for coach J.T. Curtis...rated a three-star recruit by Rivals.com while garnering two-star status by Scout.com and 247Sports.com... was rated as the #32 center in nation by Scout.com… helped lead the Patriots to a combined 40-2 overall record with three District 10-2A titles with consecutive 6-0 showings, state titles his final two prep seasons, a runner-up finish as a sophomore and a national championship as a senior...as a senior, named first-team all-state, all-metro and all-district...claimed honorable-mention all-state as well as first-team all-metro and all-district distinction as a junior.

Personal: Born on April 13, 1994...son of Jerry and Kathy Godfrey...has one brother, Jerry, who played at Tulane from 1996-99, and three sisters - Jenell, Jenine and Kasey...majoring in mass communications.
