- Southland Hitter of the Week (3/25)
2025 Season (Graduate): Missed most of the season with an injury... had two at-bats as a pinch hitter in mid-March.
2024 Season (Senior): Put together a breakout senior campaign, starting 22 of 40 games play... batted .293 with 22 hits, two doubles, a triple and two home runs... both homers came in a 7-6 victory over Southern Miss where she went 4-for-4 and ended the game with a solo shot in the ninth. Was named SLC Hitter of the Week... finished with 13 RBIs and nine runs scored... drew eight walks and two hit-by-pitches... put down two sacrifice bunts... had five multi-hit games with two three-hit to go along with her four-hit outing against USM... drove in the go-ahead run in 2-0 win at Northwestern State... had a 3-for-3 game with two RBIs in win over Texas A&M-Commerce and a three-hit, three-RBI outing in win at HCU.
2023 Season (Junior): Appeared in 26 games including 10 starts... posted a .244 batting average with 10 hits... had two doubles, a triple and a home run... homer came in victory over Alcorn... finished with four runs scored and five RBIs... had four walks and one hit-by-pitch... stole one base.
2022 Season (Sophomore): Played in 18 games with seven starts in her first season with the Colonels... hit .188 with three hits and three RBIs... registered her first hit as a pinch-hitter against UIW... followed with a 2-for-2 in her next outing, driving in two runs in a 5-4 win over Northwestern State.. also drew three walks on the season.
At Central Lafourche: Multi-sport athlete, playing softball, volleyball and soccer... named All-State all four years in softball, along with earning All-Region and All-District... played in statewide All-Star Game in her senior year... named Offensive MVP after batting .766... was an Academic All-State selection... named to Principal's List... posted a 30 on her ACT... Student Council officer... also played travel ball for XLR8... spent one year at Mississippi College.
Personal: Born June 9 in New Orleans... parents are Amber and Josh Champagne... has a younger sibling, Beau... her grandfather, Joe Labruzzo, played running back at LSU and was selected in the NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders... majoring in allied health/psychology... career goal is to work in medical sales.
