2025 Season (Senior): Started all 55 games, seeing time at first base, designated player and pitcher... named All-Southland Second Team at the utility position... was a one-time Southland Hitter of the Week... also garnered SLC All-Tournament after going 2-0 in the circle with a 0.58 ERA while adding three hits and three RBIs on offense... totaled 44 hits on the season for a .301 batting average... tied for sixth in SLC with 15 doubles and ranked 10th in RBIs (36)… hit a team-high three home runs and scored 23 runs… posted a .466 slugging percentage... registered 15 multi-hit games with two three-hit efforts… had a nine-game hitting streak... celebrated Senior Day with a 3-for-4 outing in win over Lamar, driving in six runs helped by a three-run homer... drew four walks and four hit-by-pitches... had five sac flies and two sac bunts... was 3-for-5 in stolen bases... in the circle, went 7-6 with 41 strikeouts and a team-best 3.74 ERA… had 13 starts and 23 total appearances... tossed four complete games including a shutout in the SLC Tournament vs. HCU... struck out 41 batters in 78.2 innings... held hitters to a .289 batting average... struck out a high of five batters twice, both in wins against HCU.
2024 Season (Junior): Served as the designated player in the lineup, starting 42 of 50 games played... finished with 35 hits with seven doubles for a .278 batting average... tied for the team lead with five home runs... had 21 RBIs and 12 runs scored... recorded eight multi-hit games including three three-hit outings... drove in two or more runs in five games... drew 10 free passes with seven walks and three hit-by-pitches... stole one base... named SLC Hitter of the Week after hitting .455 with 10 RBIs. Hit two homers vs. Alcorn and at No. 11 Florida State, and had a 2-run single in the sixth in win over Charleston Southern during the week... also made two appearances in the circle, posting a 1-0 record with a 3.50 ERA... had two strikeouts iin 6.0 innings... notched the win vs. Alcorn with three shutout innings.
2023 Season (Sophomore): Started 47 of 49 games played, seeing most of her time as the designated player... totaled 36 hits for a .271 batting average... had seven doubles, a triple, and three home runs... finished with 21 RBIs and 13 runs scored... drew seven walks... tallied three sacrifice flies... was 3 for 3 in stolen bases... best game at the plate was a 3-for-3 outing with a double in win over Alcorn... homered twice in a victory at Jackson State, finishing with four RBIs... also had two RBI games against Northwestern State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi... made seven appearances in the circle, posting a 5.25 ERA in 12 innings... had a .313 opponent batting average... picked up a three-inning save against Southeastern, allowing a run on four hits in 3.0 innings... struck out five batters with two in two different outings... ... tossed 3.0 innings with no earned runs against Southern.
At Temple College: Played her first season for the Leopards... named All Region 5 North Team and First-Team All-Conference... led team with 17 home runs.
At Academy: Had a record-breaking career for the Bumblebees... named District MVP and Athlete of the Year in her senior season... helped team to regional semifinals in 2019 and '21... set the career records for RBIs (159), hits (187), runs (173), walks (62), doubles (56), home runs (42), and batting avg. (.495)... made honor roll as a senior... played travel ball for Sudden Impact.
Personal: Birthday is December 9... parents are Brian and Rhonda VandenBout... has a younger sibling, Morgan... her uncle, Pete VandenBout, played baseball at Seton Hall and pitched in the minor leagues... majoring in business administration... career goal is to become a lawyer.
