Jenny Nash is in her sixth season with the Colonel women's basketball coaching staff.
A native of Houston, Nash put together a stellar career for the Colonels from 2011-15. A four-year starter, Nash left Nicholls ranked eighth on the all-time scoring list with 1,169 points and also ranked fifth in rebounds and fourth in steals.
An All-Southland Second Team selection as a senior, Nash averaged a career-high 14.0 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists. She ranked 20th in the NCAA with 2.8 3-pointers per game and set the program's single-season record with 84 made 3-pointers while ranking second in the Southland at 40.2 percent from behind the arc.Â
Nash was a three-time Academic All-Southland honoree and received Southland Conference Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Year in 2015. She was the first Colonel to earn the award and was a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection.
Nash earned a degree in mathematics and also received her Master's.
