2014-15 Season (Redshirt Senior): Suffered season-ending knee injury in preseason.

2013-14 Season (Senior): Missed the entire season recovering from knee injury.

2012-13 Season (Junior): Started 24 of 25 games played… missed the last portion of the season with a knee injury… was 27th in the league in scoring (8.6/215)... scored in double figures in 11 games... had a season-high 17 points twice (ULM and SFA)… shot .379 (86-227) from the field and .247 (18-73) from 3-point range… made 25 of 31 free throws (.806)… was third on the team in rebounding with 4.1 (32/70) per game… had a season-high eight in three different games…  registered 15 assists… finished with 17 steals and five blocks.

2011-12 Season (Sophomore): Had 19 starts in 26 games played... named LSWA Player of the Week on Jan. 30 after averaging 15 points for the week… was fourth on the team in scoring (9.3/241)… scored in double figures in nine games, with three 20-plus outings… had a career-game against top seed Central Arkansas in the SLC Tournament, scoring 32 points with seven 3-pointers… shot .419 from the field (93-222)… was tied for third on the team in 3-pointers made (29)… shot .387 from behind the arc (29-75)… shot .765 from the charity stripe (26-34)… averaged 3.3 rebounds (87)… grabbed a season-best seven against Corpus Christi (Feb. 1)… had 20 assists, five blocks and 18 steals on the year.

2010-11 Season (Freshman): Started 21 of 26 games played… was fifth on the team in scoring at 9.0 points per game… scored in double figures in 12 games, including a personal-best 18 points against Central Arkansas (Feb. 23) and Northwestern State (Mar. 3)… connected on 8-of-12 from the field against UCA… shot 43.4 percent (95-219) from the field and 32.7 percent (16-49) from behind the arc… was 2-of-4 from 3-pointers in two contests, last coming against UT-Arlington (Jan. 8)… made 75.7 percent (28-37) from the free throw line… was a perfect 6-of-6 at the line against Northwestern State (Mar. 2)… collected 104 rebounds for a 4.0 average… grabbed a season-high nine at UTSA (Feb. 19)… dished out 14 assists… had nine blocks and 25 steals.

At Ursuline Academy: Was a two-sport athlete, starting four years for basketball and volleyball… guided the Lions to a trip to the state playoffs, ending in the quarterfinals… named All-Metro Player of the Year by the Times Picayune as a senior… was four-year all-metro and all-district selection in basketball… named all-state as a senior… scored 2,907 career points for the Lions… averaged 19.7 points her senior season… also had an outstanding volleyball career, being named to the all-state squad twice… crowned state champions in 2009 in volleyball.

Personal: LiAnn Crystal McCarthy was born on Oct. 14, 1991 in Trinidad and Tobago… daughter of Cheryl Holder … has three older siblings - Sherwin, Sheldon and Lizelle Holder… brother Sheldon played football at McNeese State… majoring in accounting… career ambition is to become an auditor.
