Nicholls State University

2015 (Junior): Played in 12 games with one start over her junior season, logging 245 minutes on the pitch... Scored one goal and assisted on another against Alcorn State (Sept. 11)... Helped the Colonels to their first victory over Northwestern St. in program history.

2014 (Sophomore): Played in eight games during her sophomore campaign at Nicholls, logging 197 minutes of playing time... Scored her first goal on the year in an 8-0 win over Arkansas Pine Bluff... Saw a season-high 47 minutes in a 4-0 victory over Alcorn State.

2013 (Freshman): Played in three games in her first season at Nicholls, seeing 56 minutes of action in all... Made debut against Southern in an 8-1 victory, playing 18 minutes... Saw a season-high 28 minutes against Alcorn State, taking one shot on goal in a 6-0 win. 

Lakeshore High School: Was a captain for the Titans all four years at the Northshore school, reaching the state semifinals as a junior and quarterfinals as a sophomore… Was an all-district and all-state selection as a junior, while earning District 9-II MVP honors in 2011 along with all-Metro honors… Is a member of the Top Titan, Little Titan program at Lakeshore, along with being a part of the broadcast team.

Personal: Full name is Anna Catherine Gourgues, born July 28 in Mandeville, La… Parents are Bill and Shelley Gourgues… Has two brothers in David and Ben… David played college soccer at Thomas University… Will be the 18th member of her family to attend Nicholls… Majoring in business.
